1. Review your current or last known position, fix age and accuracy. Use Refresh location for a fresh fix or Settings to correct permissions. Copy location copies coordinates; Share location opens the phone’s sharing choices for the displayed position.
  2. Choose Request help. If several linked participants are eligible, select the correct Participant.
  3. Review the location that will be included and enter Message (optional), up to 512 characters. The request includes the participant’s contact details and the available position. Without GPS, you can still send a message without coordinates.
  4. Choose Send help request and wait. Organizer notified means the event team’s inbox has received the request, not that a staff member has read it or is on the way.
  5. Choose Check acknowledgment to refresh the status. Waiting means no acknowledgment is recorded; acknowledged means the organizer has acknowledged it; resolved means the organizer marked it resolved.
  6. Open More → Organizer messages to read staff replies and their times. Sign in if asked, then use Refresh or pull down to load newer messages.

If context loading fails, no request has been sent; retry loading or use Call organizer when a phone number is available. If sending is unconfirmed, keep the form and choose Retry sending; the same message and location are retained to avoid duplicate notifications. A failed status refresh keeps the last confirmed status. A call opens the phone app; if several organizer numbers are published, select one.

A help request does not guarantee an immediate response or emergency assistance. In an emergency, Call 112 opens the phone’s calling action independently of GPS or event sign-in. Tell the operator your location and follow their instructions. See rescue-point information when provided.
