The camera will not start

  1. Check the phone’s Camera permission for B-Crew in device settings and allow access.
  2. Return to Scan, select Check in and choose Start scanning.
  3. If you cannot restore camera access during the shift, use Find and the participant’s name, ticket or booking number.

The QR code cannot be read

  1. Check the event heading. For the wrong event, use Account → Switch event and select the correct one.
  2. Present one ticket QR code to the camera. If it still cannot be read, choose Find.
  3. Enter at least three characters and select the matching participant. Check the exact ticket reference and current result before admission.

The connection fails during an action

  1. Keep the current participant selected and restore connectivity.
  2. Review the current ticket status or item balance. Wait for a confirmed result before handing over another item or admitting the ticket again.
  3. For a handover awaiting confirmation, use Retry confirmation for that same action.

B-Crew needs a connection to confirm admission and service use. Agree on an outage fallback with the event lead before your shift.

A check-in or handover action is unavailable

Ask the organizer to check your event permissions and the ticket’s eligibility. Admission, included services and add-ons have separate requirements. For service handover, check that you selected the correct station and method.

Camera permission denied identifies a device-permission problem. Use Find while restoring camera access.
