1. Choose Add photo or video (+), then Take photo, Record video or Gallery.
  2. For capture, allow Camera access and, when needed, microphone access. Use the system camera to capture and accept the photo or clip. Video capture is limited to 30 seconds. Cancel returns without attaching a new capture.
  3. For existing media, use Around replay time for nearby capture times or All media for a wider selection. Select thumbnails, use Load more where offered and choose Add selected.
  4. If Photos access is limited, choose Manage access to change the allowed selection. If access is denied, All media opens the system picker so you can choose individual files.
  5. Open the attached item to view it. Video has play/pause and a timeline; photos can be inspected in their viewer. Use Adjust time to select the date and time used to place an item on the activity.

Camera or microphone denial needs the matching device permission before retrying capture. Adding library media does not require you to grant the entire library. If an attached file becomes unavailable, open that item and select a replacement of the same media type; recovery replaces its existing association and keeps its placement time. Cancel leaves it unrepaired.

To export a finished reel, use its Save / share choices or save to the photo library when offered; check permission and recipient. See reel editing and replay.
