On narrow screens, Scan ticket is labelled Scan, and Find participant is labelled Search.
Scan a ticket
- Open the event’s Check-in → Scan ticket page and choose Start camera. Allow camera access in the browser.
- Point the camera at one ticket QR. Use Switch camera if the wrong camera is selected.
- Review the resolved participant, ticket and status. If the participant has several tickets, select the exact one.
- Choose Check in ticket when eligible and permitted, and wait for confirmed admission.
- Choose Scan next ticket to continue. Stop camera stops scanning.
If a ticket is not found for this event, check the selected event and use manual lookup. If camera access is denied or no camera is available, allow access in browser/device settings or choose Find participant.
Find someone or record an item
- Choose Find participant. Enter at least three characters in Participant name or ticket reference.
- Select the participant and ticket. Check prior admissions and the event’s configured repeat-admission rules before using an available Check in ticket action.
- For an included service, use Redeem 1; for a purchased extra, use Collect 1. Check the item and remainder and record only the unit being handed over.
- Wait for confirmation and inspect History or Check-in report for recorded activity. Use Load more for older history entries.
An uncertain action stays pending. Use Retry check-in, Retry redemption or Retry collection for that same action before starting another. If offline, actions are unavailable; reconnect and check the current state before continuing. A scan, error or loader is not a confirmed admission.
Phone teams can follow the B-Crew scanning guide.
