Prepare the event and payment connection

Have an active ticket price, a usable payment connection and the website destinations for successful, cancelled and failed payments ready. Organization setup readiness and event registration readiness are separate checks.

Review the organizer’s connection under Organizer Profile → Payment Profile. Update status refreshes its stored status. If setup is incomplete, follow connect a payment account before continuing.

Open registration

  1. Open the event overview and choose Start registration. During event creation, you can instead choose Open registration now.
  2. In the Start registration dialog, enter Success URL, Cancel URL and Error URL. These are the website pages buyers return to after a successful payment, a cancellation or a payment failure.
  3. Under Choose payment methods, select at least one offered method beneath the connection that should process it. Use Search payment methods or the Payment connection filter to narrow the list. The same method can be selected through only one connection.
  4. Review the destinations, selected methods and their connections, then choose Start registration in the dialog. Cancel closes the dialog without opening registration.
  5. Wait for the event overview to show Registration is open. Opening the dialog alone does not open sales.

Share checkout

  1. From the open event’s overview, choose Payment links.
  2. Copy Registration page URL for the event or an individual Ticket checkout URL.
  3. Share the intended link on your event website or with prospective buyers.

For an embedded checkout, use Ready-to-paste checkout HTML → Copy HTML. Review Authorized website origins and save only the intended origins. Give the snippet to the person managing that website. Copying HTML does not publish the website or complete wallet-domain registration.

If registration cannot be opened

  • Missing active price: add an active ticket price, then use Refresh in the registration dialog.
  • No verified payment profile: complete the payment connection setup and refresh its status before trying again.
  • Payment profiles do not load: use Try again. For a field error, correct the indicated value before submitting again.
  • Access denied: ask an authorized organizer administrator to check your role.

Payment-method availability also depends on provider requirements and buyer/device eligibility. Draft events do not offer usable payment links. To stop new sales later, choose Close registration and verify the resulting status. Closing sales does not automatically cancel existing bookings.
