Record, pause and save an activity

For an event that offers recording, choose whether to keep the recording on this phone or sync it online before starting. Private synchronization uploads track points; photos and videos stay on the device. It does not itself create a public sharing link.

Open the event’s route recording control and select Saved on this phone or Sync online.
Choose Start recording. Check the recording indicator and elapsed time.
Use Pause recording and Resume recording when needed. Expand the recording panel to see its controls and Cloud storage setting.
Choose Finish recording, then confirm Finish. Choose Cancel to continue instead.
After Recording saved, open Activities → My recordings and select the activity.

Sync pending or Offline does not mean upload is complete. Saved local points can remain while synchronization recovers. For a saved recording, Sync now is available from its menu; wait for Synced before assuming it is stored online.

If the app reopens with an unfinished activity, use Continue activity to inspect and resume it rather than starting another.
